Sapphire Falls Review
Strong Water Tavern overlooks the waterfall area and specializes in a variety of rums along with a tapas style menu. The Amatista Cookhouse is a Caribbean inspired full-service restaurant with elegant theme and open exhibition type kitchen. We used our dining credit at this particular restaurant and we were a little underwhelmed. We will give it another try though before we make our final decision.
We had a chance to stay at the Sapphire falls a shortly after it opened. It has a great atmosphere and is a good edition to universal’s value hotel line up. It does seem a little smaller than the other resorts. Of course we have a blast whenever we stay on-site at universal and Sapphire Falls was no exception. Overall it was a fun experience but the hotel did not “WOW” me. If you are looking for a fun on-site value property check out Cabana Bay. I love the funky retro feel! It’s my personal favorite 🙂 Sapphire Falls has a nice laid back elegant feel at a value price.
